Dear Our Lady of the Valley Families,
I want to officially welcome all of you to the 2015-2016 school year! Summer vacation will end soon and we must move forward with many exciting changes to follow. We have been very busy throughout our campus this summer in preparation for the school year.
I am privileged to have the opportunity to return this school year as your Principal and I feel honored to work with our highly qualified and dedicated staff, our wonderful students, and all of the supportive parents.
Over the last year, I spent a lot of time getting to know the building, the school’s community and bringing myself up to date on Our Lady of the Valley’s school improvement goals, as well as what makes OLV such a unique and special place. The elementary years are critical times of development for students and families; therefore, we recognize that each child is unique in God's plan, possessing individual gifts and talents. It is our plan to respect and nurture individual differences while developing each student to his or her fullest potential. The experiences of faith and service help our students develop a love for God and an appreciation for the value of others. In my eyes, one of the most important aspects of my work as Our Lady of the Valley’s principal is building solid relationships with students, families and teachers. I look forward in working with all of you to make this school year successful.
In addition, your child’s safety is extremely important to me. Should you have any concerns about something or a question about a specific situation or procedure, please do not hesitate to call me. Communication is paramount in a school. For this reason, I will always encourage you to contact your child’s teacher or me with questions.
Our Lady of the Valley has many things to be proud of. I thank you in advance for welcoming me as part of this great community and I look forward to working with each of you!
God bless you,
